Replays: Excellence in Subject Specific Assessment
Hello Curriculum Thinkers,
The Subject Curriculum Goals Survey 2023/24 revealed Assessment was the biggest priority in your departments.
To help you learn how others do assessment in their subjects, last term, we organised for 14 amazingly generous and brilliant subject leaders to share their assessment work and facilitate conversations about what it looks like in different contexts.
This post contains three pieces of follow up to those events:
Learning how others do it by watching the recordings of the events ⏯️
Downloading and adapting assessment resources via the shared drive we’ve been building 📝
Building relationships with the subject specialists you met at (or are about to meet when you watch) the meet ups 📧
Before we get to those, quick thanks to everyone who expressed an interest in our subject leadership success project. We’ll be in touch with next steps soon. ICYMI, you can register here.
Taking the second bullet first...
1. Access and share assessment resources in your subject 📝
“I would love to see some examples of what assessment looks like in your department”
We heard this time and time again at the end of each Excellence in Subject Specific Assessment meet up we ran in November and Early December.
So to help, we’ve been gathering a bank of subject-specific assessment resources in one place.
👉 Click here to contribute to and access the shared drive of assessment resources
It currently has 100+ resources from across 10 subjects.
If you have already contributed to it, you should have been sent details about how to access it. If you've not received it, DM Frances Ling.
